Greetings all, I'm Robert Aronson, the creator of ORBA. I've owned tabletop RPGs since about 1996 at the age of 14, but started getting into them in 2000 when I went off to college. Honestly, I haven't done much playing of tabletop RPGs, but I've done a lot of collecting and reading of them. I was always more interested in the rules and settings of RPGs than I was in actually playing them. For a long time I collected RPGs, and grew a rather large library. But these days I've gotten rid of all but the few I liked the most, or the few titles I became interested in during more recent years. In the past my favorite RPGs were the ones from White Wolf, such as Vampire: The Masquerade, Mage: The Ascension, and Hunter: The Reckoning. It was the video games Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption that really kick-started my interest in tabletop RPGs. I had owned a few before playing that game, but I didn't really understand them. It was Vampire that finally got through to me about how tabletop RPGs worked. These days I'm almost entirely just into ORBA, and have little interest in playing anything else. I've put together a number of my own rules systems, but ORBA is the one that I think is the best (at least concerning my present tastes). I hope you enjoy using ORBA! Please let me know if you do!
